You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but
you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline
cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the ILTA websites or other
websites you visit.
What Are Cookies
Cookies are text files placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run
programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read
by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The
purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if
you personalize ILTA Website pages, or register with an ILTA Website or Services, a cookie helps ILTA
recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your
personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the
same ILTA Website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the
features that you customized. For example, cookies can store your session information for easy log-in to
a website or platform, or your language or user interface customization preferences or may allow
websites to record your browsing activities (for example, number of page views, number of visitors, and
time spent on each page).
We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. A session ID cookie expires when you close your
browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for a set period of time or until you delete it.
Data Retention
ILTA retains your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was
collected as set forth in this privacy policy, after which we will securely destroy or delete such personal
information from our records unless otherwise required by law. We will retain and use information as
necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and as otherwise set
forth in this privacy policy.
