Project Overview

CTRL+ALT Digital was honored to partner with the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) to undertake a comprehensive redesign of 22 Board websites. This ambitious project aimed to modernize the online presence of the Boards, enhance user experience, and ensure seamless functionality for both internal stakeholders and the public.
CTRL+ALT Digital was invited to respond to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by the Florida Department of Health. Following a competitive selection process, we were awarded the project due to our expertise in website design, development, and implementation.
Key Deliverables
The project was executed in several critical phases to ensure a smooth and successful transformation:
- Initial Website Design
Our team collaborated closely with FDOH stakeholders to create user-centric, visually appealing, and accessible website designs. These initial designs incorporated modern aesthetics, intuitive navigation, and compliance with state and federal accessibility standards. - Final Website Design & Development
After gathering feedback from stakeholders, we refined the designs to align with the specific needs of each Board. The final designs were tailored to reflect the unique identity and functionality requirements of all 22 Boards while maintaining a cohesive overall structure. - Implementation Plan
A detailed implementation plan was developed to ensure a seamless transition from the legacy websites to the new platforms. This plan outlined timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and communication protocols to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged. - User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Training
To guarantee the new websites met the highest standards of quality and usability, we conducted rigorous User Acceptance Testing. Additionally, we provided comprehensive training sessions for FDOH staff to empower them with the knowledge and tools needed to manage and maintain the websites effectively. - Go-Live Deployment and Support
The final phase of the project involved the successful deployment of all 22 redesigned websites. Our team ensured a smooth go-live process with minimal disruption to users. Post-launch, we provided ongoing support to address any issues, optimize performance, and ensure the continued success of the websites.
Results
The redesigned websites have significantly improved the user experience for both internal and external audiences. With modernized designs, enhanced functionality, and improved accessibility, the Florida Department of Health’s Board websites now serve as a reliable and user-friendly resource for medical professionals and the public.
CTRL+ALT Digital is proud to have played a role in this transformative project, delivering innovative solutions that align with the Florida Department of Health's mission.
